The Hong Kong catering industry is facing a shortage of manpower. Currently, the Legislative Council Secretariat has been trialing two of our delivery robots KettyBot, in the Legislative Council's restaurant. The aim is to assist the hardworking restaurant staff.
Recently, Mr. Andrew Leung, the President of the Legislative Council, visited the site and brought a group of students to visit the robots. The students listened to an interesting guide and had a close encounter with the operation of the robots, aiming to spark their interest in innovative technology. The students were excited and even walked alongside the robots, becoming their "little fans".
香港飲食業鬧人手荒，立法會秘書處近日在立法會餐廳試用兩部我們的送餐機械人KettyBot（並名為「立仔」和「立女」），希望可幫輕辛勤工作的餐廳員工。
日前，立法會主席梁君彥先生更親臨現場，帶同一班參觀立法會的同學仔前來「探班」，聽導賞員富趣味性的介紹，並近距離認識機械人的操作，希望藉此可引發同學仔對創新科技的興趣。而同學仔們亦十分雀躍，跟住機械人一起走路，成為「小粉絲」。
